Mentorship Monday is for you if…

You mentor others — formally or informally — and

want to be more intentional about how you show up in that role.

You’re navigating the messy, human parts of mentorship: feedback, trust, boundaries, difficult conversations, and growth.

You believe good mentorship is more than being experienced, helpful, or having all the answers.

What lands in your inbox every Monday

A thoughtful pause for your practice — practical, reflective, and grounded in the real work of mentoring others.

One idea

A short perspective on mentorship, leadership, or professional practice that gives you something worth carrying into the week.

One reflection

A question or prompt that helps you look a little more closely at how you support, challenge, and grow alongside others.

One way forward

A practical next step, conversation prompt, or small shift you can bring into your work right away.

Hi, I’m Kerry. I believe mentorship can change the way we experience our work.

I’m an educator, facilitator, and founder of KD Talks & Consulting. I’ve spent my career working alongside early childhood educators, mentors, and leaders — exploring what helps people feel supported, challenged, connected, and able to grow.

Mentorship Monday is where I share some of that thinking: the questions I’m sitting with, what I’m noticing in the field, and practical ideas you can bring back to your own relationships and practice.

Ready to think differently about mentorship?

Start your week with one idea, one reflection, and one way forward.
